In this chapter, I first got to see what ethics is. There are three basic value orientations and a four way test for ethical decision making. I believe it is good to know all of this because when dealing with Public Relations, you have to have good morals and values and you also have to be ethical. The chapter goes on to talk about PRSA: The Public Relations Society of America. This part was interesting to me because as a member of PRSSA: Public Relations Student Society of America, it is intersting to know more about PRSA. There is also other PR organizations such as the International Association of Busines Communicators and The International Public Relations Association. Within this chapter, I got to see all of the differnet codes of conduct and ethics for different aspects of Public Relations. There is also topics about licensing and accreditation which I believe will help me greatly when I am trying to make it as a Public Relations Professional in the future.
